Silhouette Art

Last week and today we have been working on art worked that is based on the jobs or things we wanted to be when we were kids.

The children had to work through a process to get these finished pieces:

1. Use chalk pastels and water to create background effect
2. Research silhouettes that they could use to show their chosen profession
3. Draw their silhouettes by hand onto black paper and cut them out
4. Write a short blurb detailing their choice


These are how they turned out!

Argentina's Got Talent

This week the children were given free time to produce a art project. Here is a snippet of what they achieved during two sessions.

It was so nice to see that they could all be on task and work so beautifully together and have FUN!

massive

This year we are doing massive.
 you might be thinking what is massive is
So I am going to tell you.
Massive is production it comes every 2 years so then no one in Mapua school will miss out on it.
You might be thinking again who does it & what do you do in massive.
Well, I will tell you and then you will understand.
the year 7 and 8 do it
But do not say why is it only the year 7&8 do it because I do not know.
What do you do in massive well sit down and I will tell you a list of things about what you do?

1. you can sing 
2. you can dance 
3. you can talk 
4. you can act as a character like doctor who
5. play the gaiter,drums,and more instruments
6. You can act out too.

      room 11,12 & 13 have been practicing for a vey long time lets say every single day we started in august and it ended on the 3 of sectember.
